Role and Responsibilities:
Under the direction and supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Database Officer will be responsible for the following services:
- Works with the Project Coordinator and her MEAL Coordinator to maintain a robust and comprehensive database management system to ensure project and donor deadlines are met and accurate data is available to make critical decisions.
- Collect, analyse, interpret, synthesise and report data related to ongoing project activities/interventions.
- Assists her MEAL and project team with data collection and data entry as needed. Supports the creation of regular technical progress reports based on the results framework.
- Collect and consolidate monthly data reports and progress data against project metrics.
- Build info graphics, dashboards, and presentations by interpreting and visualising key metrics data for internal and external stakeholders such as donors, governments, and technical working groups.
- Support the planning and development of monitoring activities, including but not limited to needs assessments, baseline surveys and final surveys.
- Assist MEAL coordinators in developing appropriate monitoring and data management strategies, data collection tools, and report templates.
- Ensure adherence to data protection policies and protocols across organisation and projects in line with Cesvi and donor policies.
- Handle all internal and external data-related requests. Assistance in resolving IT-related issues in the office. Any other job-related additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer sciences, Statistics, or equivalent. Training in monitoring & evaluation will be an added advantage.
- Excellent IT knowledge and expertise in hardware and software are mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum of 04 years of relevant professional experience in a similar place in the humanitarian sector, preferably in NGOs/INGOs.
Competencies:
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced and fluid environment.
- Creative and flexible with excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills to connect with employees, partners, government officials, donors and other stakeholders.
- Strategic planning and leadership skills.
- Ability to confidently express yourself to senior staff. HR management, especially coaching and influence management
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking) is a must as I am confidently proficient in using MS Office and database management software. Local language is an added benefit.
- Advanced skills in data management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and data reporting.
- Good typing speed in English and Sindhi preferred.
