Job Description

>Job Purpose:

The Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the company's working capital, coordinating cash funding and bank transfers, leading the transition to ERP, and directing the finance team.

Company Name: Basecamp Data Solutions, Hyderabad, Pakistan.

Salary: Will be decided after interview.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective working capital management to optimise cash flow and minimise financial risk.
  • Monitor and manage company cash balances to ensure timely funding and payment of obligations.
  • Coordinate bank transfers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the migration to a new ERP system and work closely with the finance team to ensure a successful implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage the finance team and provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure quality work and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.

Competencies:

Working Capital Management:

Demonstrated experience in managing working capital, including cash flow analysis, forecasting, and optimization.

Cash Funding:

Experience in managing and coordinating cash funding activities, including cash forecasting, cash pooling, and cash positioning.

Bank Transfers:

Experience in coordinating bank transfers, including wire transfers, ACH, and other payment methods, with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

ERP Transition:

Experience in leading ERP transition projects, including system selection, implementation, and post-implementation support.

Team Management:

Experience managing and leading a team, with a strong focus on coaching, mentoring, and employee development.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or ACCA in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
