Job Description
>Job Purpose:
- Develop and implement strategies for effective working capital management to optimise cash flow and minimise financial risk.
- Monitor and manage company cash balances to ensure timely funding and payment of obligations.
- Coordinate bank transfers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the migration to a new ERP system and work closely with the finance team to ensure a successful implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Manage the finance team and provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure quality work and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.
Competencies:
Working Capital Management:
Demonstrated experience in managing working capital, including cash flow analysis, forecasting, and optimization.
Cash Funding:
Experience in managing and coordinating cash funding activities, including cash forecasting, cash pooling, and cash positioning.
Bank Transfers:
Experience in coordinating bank transfers, including wire transfers, ACH, and other payment methods, with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
ERP Transition:
Experience in leading ERP transition projects, including system selection, implementation, and post-implementation support.
Team Management:
Experience managing and leading a team, with a strong focus on coaching, mentoring, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or ACCA in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) preferred
- 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
